RockCom isn't just a club where bands take turns using a room. It's where we meet, talk, and grow together through music.
Every band here started the same way: a few people in a room, trying to make a song work. Somewhere between the first awkward rehearsal and the last chord on stage, those people became a team. RockCom exists so that this can keep happening, for every band, every semester.
This is where drummers meet vocalists, where first-years learn from seniors, and where someone who grew up on classic rock ends up jamming with someone who only listens to indie. We share advice, lend each other gear, cheer each other on at shows, and sometimes argue about setlists. Every one of those conversations makes the community stronger.
Sharing one bandroom also means trusting each other. We book time fairly, look after the equipment, and leave the room ready for the next band. The guidelines on this site aren't there to slow anyone down. They're there so that everyone can walk in and just play.
My hope is simple: that everyone who joins finds a band, finds their sound, and finds people they want to keep making music with long after the show is over. Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or you've been playing for years, there's a place for you here.
See you in the bandroom.
