Bandroom
Guidelines

Please read and follow these guidelines to keep the bandroom safe, the equipment working, and the space fair for every band.

01

Mixer & Speaker Amp Power

Power-on order:

  • Connect all cables first and set the mixer's master to 0.
  • Turn on the mixer, then set the speaker amp's master to 0.
  • Turn on the speaker amp.

Important:

  • The mixer is expensive equipment (about ₩2,000,000). Do not change any settings you don't understand.
  • Always shut it down properly after use: on the mixer screen, go to Scene → Shutdown.
02

Guitar & Bass Amps

A. Turning a guitar amp on:

  • Connect the cable from your guitar to the amp.
  • Set the amp's master volume to 0.
  • Turn the amp on, then raise the master volume.

B. Turning a guitar amp off:

  • Set the amp's master volume to 0.
  • Turn the amp off.
  • Unplug the cable and coil it up neatly.

C. Bass amp:

  • Same as the guitar amp: always turn the master volume all the way down before switching the power on or off.
03

Synthesizer & Microphones

Synthesizer:

  • Keep the master volume at the 12 o'clock position.
  • Order: connect the synth cable → turn on the mixer → turn on the power amp.

Microphones:

  • Don't cup the head of the mic with your hand, because it causes feedback.
  • Point the mic away from the speakers.
  • Always use a mic cover (on the shelf) and throw it away after use.
04

Shared Equipment & Clean-Up

  • Return the shared guitars to the exact spot you took them from.
  • Put shared items (cables, mics, music stands, chairs) back where they belong after use.
  • Coil cables neatly and hang them back up.
  • Take care not to lose or damage anything.
